However, this product was made in our one and only facility where we manufacture all of our products (scented and unscented). Therefore, atmospheric scent may or may not transfer over at a detectable level to any unscented product.
We take every precaution possible to reduce surface-level atmospheric scent transfers by:
- Using extra manufacturing tools ONLY for unscented products.
- Our “unscented” manufacturing tools are stored in completely separate containers.
- Cleaning and sanitizing ALL manufacturing tools and surfaces between each batch.
- NEVER letting our unscented products touch our scented products (either directly or indirectly)!
Please keep in mind that our shipping supplies are stored in our same small business facility where we make scented products, so they may have an atmospheric scent transfer.
If any atmospheric scent is detected by sensitive buyers, we recommend to allow the atmospheric scent transfer to dissipate:
- Remove the unscented products from all shipping materials and any materials around the product.
- Let the unscented product sit out naked (for a few days to a few weeks) in a dry atmosphere devoid of any scent with good air flow.
- Once you start using the unscented product, even the most sensitive users may not notice the surface-level atmospheric scent transfer disappears.

Spray the roots of your hair with our nourishing serum daily – morning is best after your shower.
Massage or comb the serum spray into your hair and scalp for maximum distribution.
This is an all day leave-in product.

This product’s active ingredients can cause temporary skin flushing (redness caused by increased circulation stimulated on the top layer of skin). This is only a temporary effect and the skin will adjust to the application, and with consistent use over time the flushing reaction should reduce. The redness should be minimal and only last minutes. If your redness lasts longer than an hour, stop use, wash off product well, and contact your health provider if necessary.

Our hair oil is a recommended combination for a more fortifying and complete hair supplementation. Use our hair oil as a weekly scalp treatment in addition to this daily serum to give your hair more nutrients that work synergistically with this serum’s vitamins and minerals.

I recently went through chemotherapy treatment and lost a lot of hair. My hairdresser suggested I try this serum so I placed my first order about a month ago. I just ordered my second bottle because it makes my scalp feel great and my hair is growing back! I added some lemon extract because I don’t care for the odor. The odor isn’t bad but I’m very sensitive to smell. I highly recommend this product.

I use this in combination with the shampoo, conditioner, conditioner booster, leave-in conditioner and occasionally the hair oil. I have been trying to regrow hair that was lost due to over processing and have seen great results. I have used on both wet and dry hair and the vitamin scent is no where near as strong as others say, in my opinion. It reminds me of the scent when you walk into a health food store, which feels healing!

my husband loves this product for how it dries down dry and matte, not greasy at all. it’s reactivated by water, which is amazing. it’s very light, but somehow also lasts 4-5 days without needing to be reapplied! it being a spray bottle is also a big bonus for the ease of use.

I bought this to to help grow bangs I didn’t want anymore as well as areas where my hair from cancer medication didn’t grow back well. I did see some reviews about the vitamin smell but I thought it wouldn’t be too bad. I only put a few drops since it’s a small section. The first night my husband didn’t know I did this and he thought I had too much onion or garlic in my food because it smelled like it. To me I thought it smelled like a combination of vitamins and chicken soup. I don’t wash my hair everyday so I really tried to deal with the smell each day and then try to wash it out every few days. I even tried to put some essential oil to help with smell. I did this for two weeks and I just couldn’t take it anymore. So this was a very expensive fail. All the other products I have gotten from this company are good. I’m just writing this to help others considering this product. It may work but I just couldn’t get beyond the strong smell.

I had to stop using it, my husband wouldn’t come near me. He hated the smell. Made me sad, because I’m trying to grow my hair long and I felt like I was doing something good for my scalp and hair. I know this was going to smell that way, I didn’t mind, just my husband, but I’m going to try and use essential oils like you said to make it better for him. I do notice I have growth just from the shampoo and conditioner bars and happily enjoy them.

Dear Shelly, as stated in the listing this product does smell like vitamins. I am sorry that your husband hated the smell. You could add your favorite essential oils or beneficial ones like rosemary or peppermint to your liking to help with the smell. However, there is a better alternative to grow your hair: we hear from many customers that using our shampoo soaps gives amazing hair growth results. The Vitamineral is more like a supplement to compliment your regular nourishment (shampoo and conditioner) rather than an entire wholesome meal, if that comparison makes sense! If you are not using a nourishing shampoo, then you are greatly reducing your chances of hair growth… We recommend using our Unscented Buttercream shampoo regularly (washing daily), along with an unscented conditioner for starters. I purchased this hair serum because I started shedding a lot of hair and was hoping to reverse the hair loss with this serum. I haven’t been able to use this serum consistently though to comment on its effectiveness. I don’t wash my hair daily, so when I apply this serum to my scalp and dry hair, it leaves my hair with a wet hair look. Also if hair has dry shampoo on it and then I apply serum, it just doesn’t leave my hair very manageable or looking right, plus the color from the dry shampoo makes it messy. I would prefer to apply it at night (as I shower at night), but the caffeine did keep me awake when I tried it, so this serum must be used in the morning. I’m trying to figure out how to use a hair growth serum if I don’t wash my hair daily (I think it’s fine to apply to wet hair).
Side note: So I ended up giving the serum to my husband to use on his balding spot, but he dislikes the vegetable glycerin ingredient. Is it possible to make this product without that ingredient by any chance?

Hi Melissa! We recommend only spraying about 10 sprays on your total scalp in the morning, this should not give your hair a “wet look” if used lightly. The Organic Vegetable glycerin ingredient is very important for the consistency of the product, keeping the ingredients suspended and evenly distributed for enough time after you shake the bottle so that when it is sprayed it doesn’t clog the sprayers and it goes on evenly – it also helps the hair from drying out when applying all of the vitamin ingredients and makes it easier for the hair to utilize those ingredients since some are oil-soluble, not water-soluble. I’ve been really loving this serum! I haven’t really noticed too bad of a smell like others have said. You do have to be careful not to use too much though or it leaves your hair feeling a bit greasy and heavy. (I have fine hair tho) I really love the clean ingredients, I think this is the best I’ve ever found!

Having fine/thin hair, this product was made for me! I give 5-6 sprays on wet hair, massage it in, and then comb through. Because I use it every other day, I can definitely tell the difference on days when I use it. My hair and scalp respond so well, they get a little extra volume and some pep in their step. The vitamin smell is a bit strong, but it can be toned down by adding a couple drops of your favorite essential oil (I used lemon). I’m hopeful that I will get some regrowth from using this and will update my progress after a few months!

So first off I definitely notice a faster rate of growth when I’m regularly using this, and I also love it because it gives me a lot of volume and texture at my roots (fine hair). It also makes it so I don’t have to wash my hair as often, not sure how I just don’t look as greasy in between washes. It doesn’t weigh your hair down at all, which is something I always have to worry about. A few hours before bed I part my hair and spritz about seven different places, twist my hair into a bun and go to bed. Brush it out with a boar brush in the morning to separate the hairs and it gives me lots of volume. I would use it even without the added hair growth benefits haha.

This serum has a distinct vitamin smell, but I actually love it, reminds me of chewable vitamins from my childhood. I spray it on the roots of my hair after washing, then blow dry and style. The serum adds so much texture to my hair that styling is easier and my hair looks like it has more volume. And my hair seems to be growing faster!

This stuff is great. I lost a lot of hair post Covid and I’ve been using it for almost a month and I’m definitely noticing new hair growth! It doesn’t small so great. But it’s full of great things so it’s fine. ☺️ I find it does add a lot of texture to my hair.

I’m excited to see if this will help my low density hair. Love the clean ingredients. The smell is not the best, but it’s not strong and wears off quickly. I did add a few essential oil drops and that helps. I just spray it on my scalp and rub it in with my fingers. Doesn’t make the hair greasy or feel like it has build up or anything.
