Organic Herbal Infusions
Deeply infused for over 4 weeks with USDA certified organic herbs of dried Horsetail, Rosemary, Gingko, Ginseng, Gotu Kola, Nettle, Marshmallow Root, Bamboo, Hibiscus, and Peppermint to cleanse, nourish, and stimulate your hair and scalp.
-
Bamboo is naturally high in biotin and silica, while horsetail is also high in silica. Both biotin and silica help to strengthen, smooth, and grow hair faster.
-
Rosemary and Peppermint are rich in anti-oxidant compounds that soothe and protect both your hair and scalp from environmental damage. These herbs also stimulate hair growth.
-
Marshmallow Root is great for soothing and smoothing the hair and scalp with it’s natural mucilage properties.
-
Also rich in silica and sulfur, the anti-inflammatory nettle helps to stimulate hair growth by increasing the scalp’s blood circulation, which in turn improves nutrient availability and absorption, encouraging hair growth and health! Nettle also decreases hair loss by blocking hair loss hormones from forming.
-
Ginkgo Biloba can be an effective hair loss treatment that helps support the healing of an inflamed scalp and weak hair follicles as well combat signs of age-related hair loss. Sometimes called a ‘free radical scavenger’, Ginkgo Biloba also improves circulation, and it can make a huge difference in terms of stimulating hair regrowth and strengthening your hair.
-
Hibiscus flowers and leaves are rich in invigorating ingredients like flavonoids & amino acids. Flavonoids enhance circulation on your scalp, reviving dormant hair follicles to stimulate new hair growth. Hibiscus is also touted to keep hair healthy, conditioned, and thicker while decreasing dandruff, split ends, and hair loss.
-
For many years, Ayurvedic practitioners have employed Gotu Kola, also called Mandukaparni, as a vegetable and herb that can help maintain the health of skin and hair and slow the aging process. Scientists have found it can lengthen telomeres in DNA for healthier and more youthful cell replication.
-
The nutritional elements of ginseng such as saponin and phytosterols contribute to the maintenance of a healthy scalp. Saponin is an antibacterial compound that fights infections effectively and phytosterols are believed to be effective in minimizing premature greying of hair.
Lard
Pasture-Raised, Pure, Hand-Rendered USA Lard feeds your hair and skin extra-nourishing balanced fatty acids and the world’s highest Vitamin D3 content, second only to cod liver oil. Lard has been used in haircare since medieval times for hair growth and hair health management. Our lard is carefully hand-rendered to keep its precious rare nutrients in-tact.
Lard is the 2nd fat in the world that is highest in Vitamin D3, second only to cod liver oil! Vitamin D3 is the most bioavailable form of Vitamin D. Vitamin D delivers a myriad of health benefits, including supporting healthy, long hair. As it turns out, Vitamin D3 is involved in various signaling pathways in the hair follicle and has a direct (and critical) role in the hair growth (aka anagen) phase. Topical application of vitamin D3 has been shown to render protection against damage caused to the skin by UV light. Vitamin D reduces cell death, promotes cell survival, and reduces redness and inflammation.
Since pasture-raised lard is lighter and softer in texture, slightly higher in unsaturated fatty acids, and higher in certain nutrients like Vitamin D3 – it makes a perfect fat base in our shampoo soaps, conditioners, and hair oils.
Pasture-Raised, properly fed lard is low on the comedogenic scale: it will not clog pores nor cause inflammation, in fact it may help with those issues. Since it is slightly higher in unsaturated fatty acids, it provides a more bubbly lather and a squeakier clean.
Our Lard is:
-
Slowly and carefully hand-rendered in our facility from the farm-fresh raw source
-
NEVER bleached or ultra-processed for a “white look”
-
Pasture-Raised from LOCAL and USA small family farms

Buttermilk
Local, Raw, Farm-Fresh, Grass-fed, Hand-Cultured Buttermilk to feed your hair the perfect food – high in essential vitamins, minerals, proteins, and fatty acids. Full-fat Jersey cow buttermilk is higher than goat milk in lactic acid and has the same moisturization content. The famously beautiful Egyptian Queen Cleopatra was a wise proponent, bathing in fresh buttermilk daily.
Buttermilk is high in multiple different proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Farm-fresh, raw buttermilk can have dozens of naturally occurring probiotics along with alpha-hydroxy acids like lactic acid, which promote cell renewal and rejuvenation of beauty factors such as brightness, tone, and complexion maintenance. Milk is considered a “complete protein” and “near-perfect food” meaning it contains all nine of the essential amino acids necessary for your body to function at an optimal level, plus all the essential Omega 3, 6, & 9 fatty acids in balanced proportions in addition to most of the vitamins and minerals your body needs. And buttermilk is even better! If raw milk can grow a baby calf into a cow within a few months, think of what it does to your hair!
Our Buttermilk is:
-
Slowly and carefully hand-cultured from the farm-fresh raw source
-
When the farm-fresh raw buttermilk arrives in our facility, it is frozen and used first-in, first-out to ensure the best nutrient content

I am more than impressed with this product. I’ve been using other shampoo bars from different brands, but this one is by far my favorite. It doesn’t have a strong scent or overpowering herb smell, which is a plus. It cleans your scalp without any itching or drying. Works perfectly! I am not a big fan of scented products and for that reason I love it. Highly recommend it. You must give it a try!

Good shampoo bar. Love the different herbs used. Makes my hair soft and shiny. Has a neutral smell, doesn’t smell like the herbs used in it. Will see how well it works for hair growth over time I have wavy/ curly hair for reference, which can be different to find the right shampoo for with out weighing my hair down
