However, this product was made in our one and only facility where we manufacture all of our products (scented and unscented). Therefore, atmospheric scent may or may not transfer over at a detectable level to any unscented product.
We take every precaution possible to reduce surface-level atmospheric scent transfers by:
- Using extra manufacturing tools ONLY for unscented products.
- Our “unscented” manufacturing tools are stored in completely separate containers.
- Cleaning and sanitizing ALL manufacturing tools and surfaces between each batch.
- NEVER letting our unscented products touch our scented products (either directly or indirectly)!
Please keep in mind that our shipping supplies are stored in our same small business facility where we make scented products, so they may have an atmospheric scent transfer.
If any atmospheric scent is detected by sensitive buyers, we recommend to allow the atmospheric scent transfer to dissipate:
- Remove the unscented products from all shipping materials and any materials around the product.
- Let the unscented product sit out naked (for a few days to a few weeks) in a dry atmosphere devoid of any scent with good air flow.
- Once you start using the unscented product, even the most sensitive users may not notice the surface-level atmospheric scent transfer disappears.

Lather with water on areas to be shaved (a shaving brush may help create a thicker lather), then shave areas covered with fresh lather. Rinse lather and shaved hair off with more water.

📏 Usage Rate
Recommended to use on any skin type that needs cleansing. Best used at least twice daily: upon waking in the morning and at night before bed, and used throughout the day as needed. If you have dry skin, try using our tallow butters after every wash!
⏳ Duration
Most users say that 1 bar of soap lasts them approximately 2-4 weeks if used generously and daily on large sections of the body, or approximately 2-4 months if used minimally on the hands and face.

Store in a dry place at room-temperature with surrounding airflow and immediate drainage.

I transitioned to natural products many years ago and have been using animal based products for the last five years. I was using a pure tallow bar for my hair, body, hands and face from here in the UK. Unfortunately we don’t have great options here. After yet another change for the worse with the one I was using (smaller and added oils) I started researching further afield. I ordered from Perma and I am blown away by the quality. The bar is hard, long lasting, cleans to a squeak without drying the hair or skin. It lathers beautifully with an abundance of creamy suds. The bar smells wonderful exactly as you would expect and leaves a pleasant farm fresh scent behind. I was a bit nervous ordering because the write up says “not suitable for hair” however I took a risk because all I had been using was a similar product for a few years and suited my hair the most of all the stuff I’ve tried. I would say if you hair is well transitioned to natural products and used to animal fats it is worth trying for the benefits to hair and as a more economical option to the other bars available here. My hair is medium length and thickness with curls. I find that this and previous pure tallow bars balanced my oily scalp and dry ends. Hair is clean, shiny and soft. The soap throughly washes body. It is so gentle but cleansing and moisturising for face. It calms the skin right down. It also provides the right footing for good absorption of tallow butter of choice following on. Of all the tallow soap I’ve tried this is 100% the best bar I’ve ever had. The pure quality fats and obvious care taken in making these bars really shines through. I’m really happy to have found this company.

I recently bought this for a friend to try out, and they have nothing but great things to say! Their job involves dealing with a lot of grease residue, and this soap has been surprisingly effective at cutting through it. What stands out the most is that, despite frequent handwashing, it doesn’t dry out their skin—a huge plus!

This soap is PERFECT. And I do mean perfect for daily use. I have used this soap on my face for the 3 years. It has the perfect amount of wash to it without being to harsh. I love that it is literally ONE ingredient. I buy several at a time because I don’t know what I’d do if I ran out. I use it on my newborn baby as well as my 5 year old that has extreme eczema. I had adult acne for several years and have not had ANY since using this. Silly me I used to use ProActive face wash per my dermatologist and it ruined my skin. Since using this I haven’t had any flair ups. Highly recommend for general use soap!

I’ve repurchased this bar many times. It was the first unscented tallow soap that I tried (of many brands) & it’s the bar I keep coming back to time after time again. Consistently well made bars that are smooth & buttery while lathering. They stay together until the very end without falling apart. I had been using a Desert Essence and a colloidal silver bar soap in winter that were very drying and. I came across Perma Earth in March of this year and bought a sample bundle. I mainly used the Purely Primal and Deep Woods bar soaps on my hands and within a week and a half the dryness and cracks were gone! I am amazed at how quickly the texture of my hands changed and so thankful! In the picture on the left you can see the white due to dryness in between my fingers.
