Why does tallow bead sometimes?
We can compare farm-fresh grass-fed tallow to natural raw honey in this instance. Like raw natural honey that crystallizes, farm-fresh suet tallow can develop hard beads of tallow over time… We don’t make it with these lumps of love! Tallow beads take more work to melt on the skin when rubbed in. Beading occurs randomly and inconsistently; we can’t predict or prevent natural beading. If you want to re-melt your product to dissolve the beads, remove the product from the container. Gently and slowly re-heat the tallow until melted, then turn off the heat. Re-whip or stir the tallow while cooling, then put it back in the container. We appreciate the integrity of our natural ingredients made in small batches!
Why does tallow smell / look / feel different sometimes?
We can compare tallow to raw honey in this instance as well. Raw natural honey can have a different taste, color, or texture due to different locations and seasons of the harvest. Farm-fresh tallow can also have a different smell, color, and texture due to different seasons or cows. Even from the same farmer and location. These are due to factors out of our control. 🧼 Wash or sanitize area before application.
💪 The first clockwise twist up is difficult as the sides like to stick to the tube. Warming up the sides can help!
👋 Once deodorant is exposed, hold to skin to soften the product while slowly swiping with firm pressure.
🫛 A pea-sized amount can be enough for a single application in a small area.
👕 Apply under clothes after dressing, or allow the deodorant to soak in for a few minutes before dressing.
🌀 Washable white streaks on dark clothing is normal, but careful application eliminates this issue.
☀️ Apply in the morning and throughout the day if needed for all-day freshness.
🌙 Apply at night for odor prevention.
🚫 Decrease your body odor naturally by decreasing stress and stimulants like sugars or caffeine.
🩹 If irritation occurs due to razor bumps or burns, try shaving using our shampoo and shaving soaps
❌ A detox period occurs when you switch away from antiperspirants. Recommended to use on any skin that needs odor control morning, night, and throughout the day. Best used at least twice daily upon waking in the morning and at night before bed, reapplying throughout the day as needed. If the application is rubbed or wiped off, a reapplication will be necessary to reap the benefits of continuous use.

I initially had a hard time getting this product out of the tube and customer service was helpful with is. I loved the light lavender smell and it was effective at keeping my under arms dry all day. However this product broke me out unfortunately in the area and I will not be able to continue to use. Loved it before that happened!

Dear Andrea, we are sorry to hear that this happened to you. Our pits are one of the most uniquely delicate places, and sometimes some people are sensitive to essential oils there. Unfortunately, that’s not something we can improve upon, although we do our best to try! We recommend trying our unscented option first to rule out any basic ingredient allergies. Then, if you do well with our unscented version, you may try a differently scented version, like one of our fragranced versions.

Purchased this for my mom as she is a huge fan of lavender and have been trying to convert her to tallow based products. The scent is fresh and she loved it as well as the easy tube application.

This was the first deodorant I tried from Perma Earth. I was so shocked at how dry this kept me yet allowed my armpits to breathe. The scent is so nice and calming. I tried the small sample tin and lasted me a month and half! Since then I have tried other scents in the tin and stick options and have loved it. Thank you Perma Earth for making a great product! I will definitely purchase this again.

I got the tube because I don’t like having to put the deodorant on with my hands. Also this lavender smell is a strong scent but I love that!
