Why does tallow bead sometimes?
We can compare farm-fresh grass-fed tallow to natural raw honey in this instance. Like raw natural honey that crystallizes, farm-fresh suet tallow can develop hard beads of tallow over time… We don’t make it with these lumps of love! Tallow beads take more work to melt on the skin when rubbed in. Beading occurs randomly and inconsistently; we can’t predict or prevent natural beading. If you want to re-melt your product to dissolve the beads, remove the product from the container. Gently and slowly re-heat the tallow until melted, then turn off the heat. Re-whip or stir the tallow while cooling, then put it back in the container. We appreciate the integrity of our natural ingredients made in small batches!
Why does tallow smell / look / feel different sometimes?
We can compare tallow to raw honey in this instance as well. Raw natural honey can have a different taste, color, or texture due to different locations and seasons of the harvest. Farm-fresh tallow can also have a different smell, color, and texture due to different seasons or cows. Even from the same farmer and location. These are due to factors out of our control. 🧼 Wash or sanitize area before application.
💪 The first clockwise twist up is difficult as the sides like to stick to the tube. Warming up the sides can help!
👋 Once deodorant is exposed, hold to skin to soften the product while slowly swiping with firm pressure.
🫛 A pea-sized amount can be enough for a single application in a small area.
👕 Apply under clothes after dressing, or allow the deodorant to soak in for a few minutes before dressing.
🌀 Washable white streaks on dark clothing is normal, but careful application eliminates this issue.
☀️ Apply in the morning and throughout the day if needed for all-day freshness.
🌙 Apply at night for odor prevention.
🚫 Decrease your body odor naturally by decreasing stress and stimulants like sugars or caffeine.
🩹 If irritation occurs due to razor bumps or burns, try shaving using our shampoo and shaving soaps
❌ A detox period occurs when you switch away from antiperspirants. This means your lymph nodes and glands are finally allowed to express toxins that were unnaturally kept in your body by chemicals before. 📏 Usage Rate
Recommended to use on any skin that needs odor control morning, night, and throughout the day. Best used at least twice daily upon waking in the morning and at night before bed, reapplying throughout the day as needed. If the application is rubbed or wiped off, a reapplication will be necessary to reap the benefits of continuous use.

This scent is great! The deodorant works well. I do miss the metal tubs though. I’m not sure if the added beeswax changes the way my body reacts with the deodorant. I felt like it rubbed into my skin better before when I applied from the tins. It tends to be a bit more clumpy from the plastic tube version

Nice fresh scent! Nice and fruity and peachy. I’d say this is still a gentle smell and did a nice job. I personally prefer the tins, the sample size makes a great purse size one for reapplying. APPROVED

This works better than any natural deodorant, and just as well as a traditional bar deodorant. It smells great on the hands and is not sticky. It leaves a light residue on white clothes when I sweat heavily, but washes out. Highly recommend!

I absolutely LOVE the scent of this deodorant and on top of that it is long lasting and actually works!! I tried another tallow deodorant brand last month and it did not work out at all. I decided that this is now the brand I will be loyal to. Please never discontinue this scent!!!

This is the only natural deodorant that works, and it’s better than all the rest ingredients-wise, too. I love that is has that “powder” finish as it makes it feel like an anti-antiperspirant, but without the nasty ingredients. Most natural deodorants have a more liquidy finish, and they only deodorize, versus preventing oversweating. This one allows me to sweat just enough that I don’t feel like my lymph channels are blocked, but offers so much protection that my clothes don’t feel wet with sweat when I do happen to sweat. It also smells amazing, and my boyfriend complimented me based on the smell alone, thinking I was wearing perfume! Never going back to conventional or natural “plant-based” deodorants because this stuff is the bomb!

If the world’s most famous video game princess wore a deodorant, she’d wear this one because it’s in her name! But seriously, this deodorant is amazing! I almost want to say it has a cream to powdery finish because it’s not gonna sit there and smear like a cream. It doesn’t clash with your sweat, a lot of deodorants do and it’s gross. I only got a sample of this but I bought a tin of it in another scent because I wanted to smell another one. I’ll be back for the full size of this, I LOVE peach scented products!

I’ve been buying Perma-Earth’s deodorants for years now. I initially used the lard-based one in the tube which I enjoyed for its natural ingredients and efficacy but stained my clothes and it dried out my skin slowly. Then the tallow deodorants came out. I also liked those better as they were more moisturizing, but didn’t seem to stand up to my nasty postpartum odor. Then this formulation came out with the magnesium hydroxide… and I love it!! I finally don’t need to alternate with a different natural deodorant. No dryness, just baby soft skin. The tube is very convenient for application’s sake but you do waste some on the sides of the tube after application. This scent itself is so yummy, it’s peachy and sweet. It lasts up until the end of the day even through a sweaty 12-hour shift as long as it doesn’t get wiped off when I change clothes. I can’t buy anything else now.

I bought a sample tin to try to see if I liked the smell before buying the bigger size. When it arrived I was so excited and immediately tried it! The smell is so invigorating and smells so fresh! I’ve tried countless “natural” deodorants before using the ones from Perma. These deodorants actually keep me fresh all day long even through the summer and sweating and keep my skin there smooth and soft. I will never using another brand and will most certainly order the bigger tin! 🙂

I’d been meaning to try this for a while, when I saw there was a peach scent in the deodorant I knew I had to try it. Upon first impressions when opening the tin, it has a very crisp and light sweet scent. But I was pleasantly surprised afterwards to discover that the scent gets sweeter and more full after a while. A little goes a long way and I am so glad I got this.

I’ve used other “natural” deodorants but this is the ONLY deodorant that worked! After having a baby my hormones were all over the place and my underarms had a bad odor. So I was blown away when I used this for the first time and no more odor! The tube has lasted over a month already and I still have so much more left. The scent is stronger but I love it!
