However, this product was made in our one and only facility where we manufacture all of our products (scented and unscented). Therefore, atmospheric scent may or may not transfer over at a detectable level to any unscented product.
We take every precaution possible to reduce surface-level atmospheric scent transfers by:
- Using extra manufacturing tools ONLY for unscented products.
- Our “unscented” manufacturing tools are stored in completely separate containers.
- Cleaning and sanitizing ALL manufacturing tools and surfaces between each batch.
- NEVER letting our unscented products touch our scented products (either directly or indirectly)!
Please keep in mind that our shipping supplies are stored in our same small business facility where we make scented products, so they may have an atmospheric scent transfer.
If any atmospheric scent is detected by sensitive buyers, we recommend to allow the atmospheric scent transfer to dissipate:
- Remove the unscented products from all shipping materials and any materials around the product.
- Let the unscented product sit out naked (for a few days to a few weeks) in a dry atmosphere devoid of any scent with good air flow.
- Once you start using the unscented product, even the most sensitive users may not notice the surface-level atmospheric scent transfer disappears.

Finally something that works well with my hair. Love this product! My hair is wavy and crazy but the mousse gives me just the right amount of control. My hair is soft and manageable. I’ve been using this hair mousse for a little while now, but I mainly bought it for my brother, who has very curly hair. His curls have been looking great—more defined and much less frizzy. We’ve both noticed that it makes our hair feel incredibly soft and shiny without feeling greasy or heavy. I also love that it’s natural and unscented. So definitely a great product for nourishing and styling curls!

I have gray naturally curly hair, type 3 curls, and most products on the market make my scalp itch. This mousse does not! It has very light hold, but that turns into great hold when paired with another light hold product like flaxseed gel. I do hope they offer a larger size bottle one day but otherwise there’s nothing bad to say about the product.

Like most perma earth products, I absolutely love this one. It tames my son’s ridiculous hair with a lot less whining and fussing. Makes hair easy to comb through and brings shine and moisture as well as taming fly aways. We’ve had it for atleast a couple months now and with all of us using it, we still have quite a bit left. Must have for my family!

I like this product compared to other hair gels/mousses I have tried over the years from other conventional hair product companies (Briogeo, Ouidad, etc.).
Pros: It is lightweight and distributes easily throughout my hair. It doesn’t have scent, so I don’t have to worry about it clashing with the scent of my shampoo or conditioner. It enhances my curls a bit and does seem to cut down on frizz. It does not dry my hair out at all!
Cons: I go through this quickly. It doesn’t make my curls as defined as I was hoping it would, but it does make a noticeable difference.

Hi there, thank you for the honest review. If you are looking for a more tighter and defined look. We recommend that you switch to our hair gel instead. Add a pump of gel to your hand with a splash of water and it will give you more definition. We do have bundle pricing on all of our products so if you are going through the mousse quickly, that would be my recommendation. We love to hear that it is cutting down on the frizz and enhancing your curls though! Thanks!

This mousse is great. It’s very light and won’t leave your hair feeling crunchy or like you have any product in it at all. I have wavy and often frizzy hair and this really helps enhance the waves and tame the frizz. And without any nasty ingredients! Great product.

I have found a product that enhances my natural texture without leaving it feeling heavy has always been a challenge. Despite a minor flaw in the packaging, the only drawback with the product—the spray mechanism was broke. But the mousse has proven to be a game-changer for me.
Let’s start with the most remarkable aspect of this product—the lightweight formula. Upon application, the mousse felt incredibly light, almost weightless. I was thrilled to find a mousse that enhanced my curls without leaving them feeling stiff or crunchy.
The outcome of using this mousse was impressive. It provided excellent hold and definition to my curls, taming frizz and flyaways without compromising their natural appearance. I have very fine hair, and I think getting a lot of new growth from using Permaerath products, so I always have frizzy scalp hairs and this is perfect to use to keep it tame. I often just pat some on the top of my head and it helps keep it smooth and manageable. And love the light feeling when I add to wet hair to scrunch to make wavy! I really like this mousse. The ingredients are great and I love that it provides just enough hold, without leaving my hair crispy feeling, like traditional mousse always did. I use this on my slightly damp hair and comb through when I do heatless curls and it works great for holding my curls for multiple days, plus it washes out easily and leaves my hair really soft when I brush it out. Can’t wait to try the other hair products you offer!

Mousse has always been a hit or miss for my hair. Either it dries way too “crunchy” for my liking, or it does nothing. This mousse was fantastic! It left the perfect “hold” for my wavy hair; not too weighted down either! The ingredients are much better than any other brand I have seen out there as well. I live in a cold climate which can cause the mousse to be a little bit more difficult to spray out of the spray pump. But if I leave it on the heater grate and let it warm up a bit, it sprays beautifully!

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure about this one at first, as my hair is very picky. But I was very pleasantly surprised at how my hair took to it. I first sprayed my scalp with a homemade rosemary spray that I made myself, and then I ran this through the ends. It really played up my curls and made my hair feel light and defined. I feel really good about the ingredients, compared to products I’ve used in the past. As a curly/wavy, I definitely approve this product and look forward to experimenting with it further.

I definitely was hesitant using this, as all other mousses I’ve used have left my hair feeling crunchy and thin-ish. After using their soap and conditioner bar, I scrunch my hair up and use this. After it’s done drying, I scrunch some more and it comes out so full of life and pretty. It really helps shape my natural curls.
