Shaving Soap Directions

SHAVING WITHOUT BRUSH

*Natural, animal-based soaps do not lather so easily like detergents or plant-based soaps!*

  1. Make sure the skin is clean by washing beforehand.
  2. Get your skin and soap bar wet with clean, warm water.
  3. Rub the bar in gentle circular motions on the shaving area.
  4. Lather the soap left on your skin with your hands and a little more water.
  5. Once the desired amount of lather is on the skin, shave your skin. You don’t need a lot of lather for a good shave, just a decent layer of silky smooth soap.
  6. Discard the hair and lathered soap used to shave by rinsing it away.
  7. You can wash the skin again afterwards.
  8. Pat your skin dry with a clean, absorbent cloth.
  9. Follow with a tallow-butter, solid lotion, or milk lotion if needed for dry skin.

  • Keep in a dry and safe place out of the reach of young children and pets.
  • Keep out of direct water and sunlight on a SOAP DISH for a longer-lasting bar.

BEST BY

  • There is a best by date on every product listing and on the price tag of the products themselves.
  • Our soap’s best by dates are calculated 3 years after manufacture date.
  • We recommend using our soaps within 1 year of buying, or 6 months of first use.
  • Rusty orange-colored spots on soap bars are the oils/fats becoming rancid. Old soaps that develop these should be discarded or composted.
