WASHING
*Natural, animal-based soaps do not lather so easily like detergents or plant-based soaps!*
- Wet your hands and the soap bar with clean, running water (warm or cold).
- Turn off the tap, and apply the soap bar.
- Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Hum the entire “Happy Birthday” song twice.
- Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
- Dry your hands using a clean towel or an air dryer.
- Follow with a tallow-butter, solid lotion, or milk lotion if needed for dry skin.
HOW OFTEN
Any time you need to clean and sanitize your hands.
STORAGE
- Keep in a dry and safe place out of the reach of young children and pets.
- Keep out of direct water and sunlight on a SOAP DISH for a longer-lasting bar.
BEST BY
- There is a best by date on every product listing and on the price tag of the products themselves.
- Our soap’s best by dates are calculated 3 years after manufacture date.
- We recommend using our soaps within 1 year of buying, or 6 months of first use.
- Rusty orange-colored spots on soap bars are the oils/fats becoming rancid. Old soaps that develop these should be discarded or composted.
