Solid Lotion Directions

  1. Apply right after bathing while skin is still wet. The solid lotion glides on wet, warm skin smoothly, like butter. If you apply it to dry or cold skin, you will need to spread it more thoroughly. It will also leave a thicker layer.
  2. Let your skin soak it in for 5 minutes before dressing. This will leave you with soft, moisturized skin.
  3. For really dry areas like cracked feet, hands, or elbows, a dry application can be more beneficial.

Paper Tube Containers

If the paper lid is loose, submerge the entire lid in water for a few seconds only. Be careful not to let it sit in water for longer than 15 seconds. Then, allow it to dry completely before putting it back on the tube. This will allow the fibers in the lid to expand, causing a tighter fit.

Storage

The solid lotion should be kept in an area with good air flow. Make sure to keep it in a low humidity area with temperatures between 65 – 75 degrees F.

Remove your solid lotion from heat if it melts or softens for any reason. It will re-harden in a few hours at room temperature. If you need it to harden faster, place upright in a refrigerator for 30 minutes to re-harden quicker.

Expiry

We recommend using your entire lotion tube within a year of buying, or within 6 months of first use. If the oils/fats inside start to go rancid it will smell “off” or develop spots, at which point please discard.
