-

Our Certified Organic Ingredients
Apple Cider Vinegar
-
Certified Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother enzymes has many active ingredients and minerals to feed your hair and scalp: its amino acids, vitamins, and minerals can contribute to a healthier epidermis.*
-
A great natural pH balancer to help an oily scalp while cleansing pores with its antibacterial properties, minimizing acne breakouts.*
-
Has circulation enhancement properties to reduce the appearance of blemishes and hyperpigmentation.*
-
Wonderful for soothing faster healing from damage.*
-
ACV is high in acetic acid. Acetic acid Research has shown this acid is antifungal and antimicrobial. When used topically, it clears bacteria that may be related to either infections or scalp conditions such as acne, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis (scalp eczema), and eczema.*
-
Apple cider vinegar has anti-inflammatory properties and consists of acetic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid. This means apple cider vinegar can exfoliate the scalp, absorb excess oils, and unplug blocked pores. It also has the power to restore the proper pH levels to your scalp and hair.
-
We highly recommend to use in conjunction with our shampoo soaps after a good wash.
-
Apple cider vinegar is fermented juice from crushed apples. Like apple juice, it contains some pectin; vitamins B1, B2, and B6; biotin; folic acid; niacin; pantothenic acid; and vitamin C. It also contains small amounts of the minerals sodium, phosphorous, potassium, calcium, iron, and magnesium.
-
The horsetail herb is known as a living fossil. Naturally high in biotin, it has been exalted for its use in natural hair treatments for sustaining growth and hair health.
-
Horsetail is a plant that is used to strengthen and improve the elasticity of the hair fiber, helps regulate the hair growth cycle, and reduces inflammation and improves cell turnover to create an optimal environment on the scalp for healthy hair growth.
-
Horsetail oil is rich in minerals that support the development of the hair fiber, specifically silica. It not only strengthens the hair fiber and supports its elasticity, but it also adds sheen and texture. Silica is made of silicon and oxygen; one 2016 study suggests that a higher silicon content in the hair may be associated with a lower rate of hair loss.
Rosemary
-
Rosemary is best known for its antiseptic properties on the scalp, which means it is excellent for eliminating dandruff, as well as preserving the scalp’s elasticity.
-
The absorption of herbaceous rosemary on the scalp can also aid in muscle relief, providing mental clarity.
-
A 2015 study compared minoxidil (an FDA-approved treatment for hair loss) to rosemary oil over a period of six months. The findings? Both products had comparable results, but the rosemary oil was actually more beneficial, as it did not irritate the scalp as much as minoxidil.
-
Rosemary is good for hair growth because it is anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory and increases blood circulation.
-
Some reports even say rosemary can benefit androgenetic alopecia (A.K.A. male and female pattern baldness) by eliminating the byproducts of testosterone that attack hair follicles, allowing for stronger, healthier hair growth.
Peppermint
-
Peppermint is a vasodilator and increases circulation on the scalp, which could potentially improve hair growth and prevent some hair loss.
-
The natural menthol in peppermint also imparts a freshened smell and slight tingly sensation on the skin and scalp.
-
In a 2014 study, scientists determined that peppermint promotes hair growth without the toxic signs.
Gingko Leaf
-
With its anti-inflammatory properties, Ginkgo Biloba can be an effective hair loss treatment that helps support the healing of an inflamed scalp and weak hair follicles as well combat signs of age-related hair loss.
-
While we can’t eliminate all stress from our lives, using a powerful botanical like Ginkgo Biloba can help lessen its damaging effects and develop a better response in our bodies.
-
Sometimes called a ‘free radical scavenger’, Ginkgo Biloba also improves circulation, and it can make a huge difference in terms of stimulating hair regrowth and strengthening our hair.
Nettle Leaf
-
Nettle leaves are rich in silica and Sulphur which helps in making hair shinier and healthier.
-
Rinsing hair with nettle extracts and water has been shown to result in re-growth of lost hair and also helps in restoring the original hair color.
-
A 2015 study on rats showed that nettle helps to soothe scalp inflammation, strengthen hair, stimulate hair growth, and has antimicrobial properties.
-
nettle works to prevent hair loss by blocking DHT, a precursor to testosterone which is the culprit in androgenetic hair loss.
-
Many types of hair loss are characterized by chronic inflammation, so the anti-inflammatory properties of nettle may help to reduce this as well.
-
Extremely high in silica which strengthens hair and prevents thinning by delivering essential nutrients to your hair follicles.
-
Bamboo stimulates blood circulation in the scalp, strengthening hair follicles and fostering the formation of a thicker mane, and is known for its scalp-soothing effects.
-
This plant extract also contains antioxidant and anti-irritant qualities, which help in promoting hair growth.
-
Marshmallow root is full of vitamins & nutrients that nourish hair strands & help your hair maintain a soft, smooth texture.
-
Marshmallow root is great for soothing and relieving your scalp due to its natural slippery feel from the mucilage content.
-
The natural mucilage content provides an inherently conditioning feel and effect, which is great for dry and irritated scalps as well as dry, frizzy, or unmanageable hair types.
Hibiscus Flower
-
Hibiscus flowers and leaves are rich in invigorating ingredients – flavonoids & amino acids. Flavonoids enhance blood circulation on your scalp and revive dormant hair follicles, thereby stimulating new hair growth.
-
This beautiful plant has long been touted for its hair care benefits for a variety of issues, ranging from dandruff to dry and damaged hair, and most famously for hair loss.
-
Keeps hair healthy and conditioned, thickens and volumizes hair, treats dandruff, prevents split ends, and decreases hair loss.
Ginseng Root
-
If there was one star ingredient for this hair tea, Ginseng would steal the show! A 2015 study proved that ginseng promotes hair growth in humans, as well as a 2018 study.
-
Ginseng is formed by active components called ginsenosides that have a positive effect on hair growth and its cycle.
-
ginsenosides have an anti-oxidation effect that alters the hair growth cycle and affects keratinocytes and dermal papilla growth. These active components act as reversal agents when it comes to the UV-ray exposure that causes hair weakening and loss. Additionally, their anti-aging properties are attributed to slowing down deterioration of collagen and increasing the natural production of hyaluronic acid.
-
The nutritional elements of ginseng such as saponin and phytosterols contribute to the maintenance of a healthy scalp. Saponin is an antibacterial compound that fights infections effectively and phytosterols are believed to be effective in minimizing premature greying of hair.
-
Ginseng is believed to prevent hair loss by enhancing blood circulation to the scalp and hair follicles, which help nourish and strengthen the hair.
-
Coming in at a close second place is Gotu Kola, known to help prevent and stop hair loss.
-
Once gotu kola extract is applied to our scalp (specifically, our hair follicles), it will extend and reduce the telogen phase. This phase is the resting phase of the hair cycle where our hair stops growing and we may experience shedding.
-
Gotu kola is a hydrating ingredient that suits sensitive skin, which is more prone to redness and irritation. It is an unbeatable moisture regulator that travels deep into the skin and hair to make them look hydrated, soothing and nourished.
-
For many years, Ayurvedic practitioners have employed gotu kola, also called Mandukaparni, as a vegetable and herb that can help maintain the health of skin and hair and slow the aging process.
-
It is a good source of pentacyclic triterpenoids, which have potent anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anticancer, hepatoprotective, and wound-healing effects.
-
Furthermore, gotu kola helps promote collagen production, so it is often used in anti-aging treatments.
