Magnesium oil is a compound of magnesium chloride dissolved in six molecules of water, with magnesium as the alkaline earth metal and chlorine as the nonmetal. It is not a “true” oil, as it is not composed of one or more hydrocarbons. Magnesium oil is magnesium chloride hexahydrate.
Magnesium oil can be applied to the skin as an alternative to taking a magnesium supplement by mouth, and it is claimed to have health benefits, such as for the treatment of magnesium deficiency, to relieve muscle pain and ache, and to enhance relaxation. It can also be found as a spray for the mentioned purposes. Magnesium Oil aids in protein production, regulates calcium movement and buildup, and is an anti-inflammatory. It can also prevent hair loss, promote hair growth and reduce dandruff.
Magnesium is used in over 600 cellular reactions within the human body, including the immune system and is a very essential mineral for health and complimenting nutrient utilizations. However, most First World civilians are lacking this essential nutrient that we used to get much from external exposure to the earth and the elements. Our farming soil is one example of mass magnesium depletion. This is why we find it so important to include in our formulations for maximum nutritional absorption.
We use Magnesium Oil in our Dream Cream Whipped Tallow and Magnesium Whipped Tallow, all our liquid lotions, The Moon Flower & Magnesium Shampoo-Body-Shave, Ultimate Unscented Shampoo-Body-Shave Soap, our Vitamineral Hair Serum Spray, and our Liquid Conditioner Booster.
